THE FLOW JOB:

1. Injector Coil Test: First, we measure your high-impedance or low-impedance injectors to verify the ohms reading. This is the quickest and easiest way to determine whether or not there’s an electrical problem.
2. Injector Bench Test: We perform a bench test to flow your injectors (aka the “flow job”) at 3 pre-determined setpoints for both rpm and millisecond open time.  For example: a low rpm might be 1,500 rpm and 1.5-msec, while a high rpm might be 8,000 rpm and 6-msec. This is customizable by you, or we can provide a standard range. We can also provide a sweep from 800 to 1,0000 rpm. Finally, we perform a static flow test where the injector is held wide open (not pulsed) to establish the injector flow rating at a certain fuel pressure.
3. Ultrasonic Cleaning: The filters are removed from your fuel injectors and the injectors are cleaned in our special, heated ultrasonic tank to flush out any debris.
4. Injector Bench Re-Test: We perform all of the tests in step #2 for a second time, and all results are carefully recorded on a data sheet (provided to you when the injectors are returned) to verify the effectiveness of the Flow Baby process.
